Senior Product Designer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive product experiences from initial concepts to refined implementation.

• Transform unclear product challenges into user-friendly workflows, interactions, and interfaces.

• Design experiences that leverage AI and establish new interaction patterns for researching, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating with AI.

• Develop high-fidelity prototypes to test ideas, confirm concepts, and convey product direction.

• Incorporate AI throughout your design process to brainstorm ideas, iterate swiftly, and enhance execution.

• Work closely with engineers and product managers during the product lifecycle to craft thoughtful, high-quality experiences.

• Contribute to and refine our design system, interaction patterns, and overall product excellence.

• Advocate for simplicity, clarity, and craftsmanship in every aspect.

• Elevate the design standard through insightful critique and meticulous attention to detail.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in designing digital products, with a portfolio showcasing outstanding product thinking and completed projects.

• Excellent product taste, interaction design abilities, and visual craftsmanship.

• Proven experience in designing AI products or AI-enhanced features implemented in production.

• In-depth understanding of how AI alters user behavior, workflows, and interface design.

• Proficient in using AI throughout the design process to generate more ideas, iterate quicker, and enhance execution.

• Capable of simplifying complex workflows into user-friendly experiences.

• Comfortable navigating between product strategy and meticulous execution.

• Strong sense of urgency and a tendency to prioritize shipping; you make informed decisions without waiting for perfect information.

• Incredibly resourceful; you take responsibility, solve problems, and drive projects forward.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and engineers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and iteration to implementation, rather than merely handing off designs.

• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with a high level of ownership and minimal processes.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience in building and evolving design systems.
