Senior Product Designer – 6 month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Execute independently on well-defined product requirements with minimal supervision.

• Convert clearly framed problems into UX designs that Engineering can implement with confidence.

• Create user flows, states, and interaction details in Figma at the appropriate fidelity for the current Design Mode.

• Ensure that designs adhere to established quality standards for clarity, completeness, and usability.

• Work within a pre-existing or developing design system and adhere to established patterns.

• Proactively identify gaps, edge cases, and assumptions, resolving or escalating them as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering to minimize obstacles during implementation while reducing back-and-forth communication.

• Clearly and proactively communicate progress, risks, and decisions.

• Document designs and decisions to facilitate smooth handovers and ensure long-term continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design.

• Previous experience as a product design contractor or embedded designer.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced product teams.

• Strong judgment regarding design fidelity in relation to time constraints.

• Comfortable operating within constraints and adapting to evolving systems.

• Confident in collaborating with Engineering in asynchronous environments.

• Clear and concise communicator who addresses issues early on.
