Senior Product Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Simplify the lives of accountants and address intricate issues.

• Act as the accounting specialist within the Product team.

• Investigate and resolve unclear accounting inquiries.

• Stay informed about standard-setters and track relevant publications.

• Establish the accounting framework for new product offerings.

• Leverage AI as an enhancer and manage its implementation.

• Engage with customers to clarify how software navigates complex scenarios.

• Educate the organization and create customer bulletins.

• Evaluate our deliveries and confirm the efficacy of new accounting features.

• Provide guidance to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Four to six years of progressive experience in audit or assurance at a Big 4 firm and/or senior-level corporate accounting.

• Expertise in US GAAP is mandatory.

• Familiarity with IFRS and relevant international frameworks is highly preferred.

• CPA is highly preferred; equivalent technical experience will be considered.

• Proficiency in AI is essential.

• Strong communication skills across various platforms.
