This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and manage commodity strategies for essential inbound products and services.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure that terms align with contractual obligations and incorporate these terms into contracts, such as MSAs and SOWs, negotiated with suppliers.
• Engage closely with senior stakeholders to comprehend and document business and procurement requirements, utilizing this information to identify and select suppliers for various needs, including security software and engineering services, while securing optimal terms related to price, quality, and schedule.
• Oversee RFI and RFP initiatives, and support and document cost-saving efforts.
• Leverage systems and tools such as ERPs (Coupa), PowerBI, Atlassian, ServiceNow, and various AI models to enhance and streamline procurement processes.
• Generate purchase requisitions and orders for stakeholders, reconciling these with supply requests, including managing Coupa and assisting Intermedia employees with Coupa processing and reporting.
• Reconcile invoices to contractual agreements to address discrepancies.
• A bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strategic mindset and planning skills in developing and articulating commodity strategies.
• Proven experience in negotiating and executing contracts in collaboration with the legal department.
• A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial approach with a program management perspective.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse groups, showcasing strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
• Proven success in applying AI and machine learning to enhance procurement workflows and operations.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and contract management skills.
• Excellent time management and planning skills necessary to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects concurrently while adapting to evolving business requirements.
• High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel (with large data set manipulation and pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Telecom, and/or Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) is advantageous.
• Previous experience with Coupa and/or ServiceNow is a plus.
