This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Act as the main administrator for P2P systems applications.
• Responsibilities include leading the development and execution of test plans, coordinating testing efforts with key functional users, and documenting outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical support teams to address technology requests and needs for the P2P team and its customers.
• Serve as the project lead for P2P systems initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams.
• Identify functionality issues, document potential solutions, and collaborate with other technical support groups to resolve technology requests and needs for P2P teams and their customers.
• Undertake various process improvement projects that leverage system capabilities.
• This may involve enhancing existing system functions and creating tools to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strive to optimize P2P business operations and guide all teams in adopting and adhering to best practices and workflows.
• Develop, support, and cross-train P2P team members on related business practices and their relevance to the systems’ objectives.
• Strong customer service skills are essential to assist end users with varying levels of system proficiency.
• A solid understanding of business practices in procurement, construction services, and facilities management is crucial for providing excellent customer support.
• The role involves leading efforts in data mining, report writing, and dashboard development across all sections of P2P systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field.
• At least four (4) years of experience demonstrating the ability to research, develop, and implement technical solutions that support organizational operations, training, reporting, and archival needs.
• Specific experience in designing and configuring business processes, as well as administering financial or P2P systems.
• Any equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will be accepted.
• All qualifications must be satisfied by the time of employment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to engage with all levels of staff across various organizations.
• Ability to convey and instruct complex technical terms and processes to cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending documents such as Technical Specifications, Solutions Approach, standards, specifications, and reports.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of facilities management systems, financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP), e-procurement tools, etc.
• Familiarity with techniques for retrieving, compiling, and integrating data from various database sources like Oracle, SQL, or Microsoft Access.
• Proven ability to produce technical documents, including professional-quality procedures and reports that are accurate in content.
• Skilled in managing and prioritizing multiple assignments to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
• Capable of performing tasks independently, meeting deadlines, and solving associated problems.
• Logical reasoning and analytical skills to address complex issues or problems.
• Ability to analyze the impact of available options on resolution efforts.
• Proven track record of offering corrective actions and presenting solutions.
• Skill in designing reports that provide effective summarization of results.
• Experience in leading projects and diverse teams.
• Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment and manage conflict effectively.
• 37.5-hour work week
