Senior Process Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Ensures that designs adhere to relevant process and process safety codes, standards, and legislation.

• Cultivates and updates knowledge and skills to meet current and future project and market needs.

• Establishes process design foundations, as well as control and safeguarding philosophies.

• Actively engages in design and safety reviews.

• Takes responsibility for design and additional departmental requirements.

• Proactively identifies concerns and communicates necessary corrective actions to the department head.

• Updates the Engineering Manager on potential technical issues.

• Raises matters to the appropriate management level when necessary.

• Collaborates closely with process engineers across other Plug offices worldwide.

• Provides mentorship to team members in design tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.

• 5-10 years of experience in process engineering.

• Expertise in process control or process safety.

• Proven knowledge and experience with (International) Codes & Standards, including CE, IEC, and API.

• Familiarity with applicable functional safety standards.
