Senior Process Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Design and execute manufacturing processes, equipment, and plants (from pilot to fully operational) to meet production targets.

• Provide comprehensive processing support from inception to completion for New Product Development and support for existing tooling at the plant level.

• Enhance manufacturing methods in line with the principles of scientific mold and process control.

• Oversee plant, equipment, and process improvement projects as required.

• Foster understanding among team members in resolving complex challenges.

• Work collaboratively with operations, technical, and hourly staff to optimize processes.

• Manage the optimization of press cycle time and ensure consistency.

• Aid in the creation and production of new tools to reduce 'time to market' while enhancing cost efficiency.

• Engage in the selection of processes and mold design considerations for new products.

• Lead initiatives aimed at reducing scrap rates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering discipline (experience may substitute for education).

• RJG Training Certification - Master Molder I & II or AIM Molding 3.

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong personal accountability and the ability to hold others responsible for their commitments.
