This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee Identity and Access Management capabilities that facilitate cloud enablement across various cloud partners.
• Create secure IAM architectural solutions, standards, patterns, and frameworks.
• Formulate Lilly’s long-term IAM architectural strategy.
• Assess emerging identity technologies and convert research findings into actionable adoption roadmaps.
• Engage in security architecture reviews with a threat-driven perspective.
• Design NIST-aligned identity controls and work collaboratively on policy enforcement.
• Ensure that IAM solutions comply with regulatory and industry standards.
• Spearhead automation initiatives and streamline assessments utilizing identity and cloud automation tools.
• Produce executive-ready dashboards using data visualization software.
• Create infrastructure-as-code solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Propel identity innovation through research, proof-of-concept projects, and cloud-native methodologies.
• Collaborate with architects and partners across infrastructure, applications, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Operations, and Business units.
• Convert complex identity requirements into technical solutions and implementation strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to technical, business, and management partners.
• Mentor engineers, junior architects, and operational staff on IAM methodologies.
• Question existing processes and drive continual enhancement in identity initiatives.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Over 6 years of experience in Identity and Access Management is required.
• More than 3 years of experience in identity architecture, strategy, and roadmap planning within an enterprise setting.
• Extensive expertise in Authentication Services, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Okta, CyberArk, or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is necessary.

• Proficient knowledge and experience in identity and cloud technologies.
• Proven history of delivering enterprise IAM solutions.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-63 and HIPAA.
• Exceptional influence, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking and innate curiosity.
• Ability to question processes and recommend improvements in security, delivery, risk, or service quality.
• Capability to garner multifunctional support and influence the adoption of identity architecture decisions.
• Relevant certifications are preferred, including CISSP, CISM, CIAM/CIDPRO, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, or equivalent Auth0/Okta certifications.
