Senior Principal – Bank & Credit Union Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Propel revenue growth by enhancing current banking and credit union client relationships while acquiring new "on-strategy" clients.

• Take ownership of and surpass annual revenue goals ranging from $5M to $12M through consultative selling of marketing strategy and transformation services.

• Cultivate and sustain C-level relationships with CMOs, heads of retail banking, heads of lending, Chief Compliance Officers, and other senior leaders at targeted financial institutions.

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams comprising Account Executives, strategists, creatives, and data analysts to ensure successful pursuit of opportunities.

• Spearhead proposal development, pitch presentations, and contract negotiations for intricate, multi-million dollar marketing projects.

• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts to enhance client lifetime value.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives on marketing transformation and strategies for customer growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.

• At least 15 years of experience in management consulting, marketing consulting, or leadership roles in agencies.

• Proven success in the financial services sector, with extensive expertise in retail banking and/or credit union fields.

• Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed annual sales targets of $5M or more.

• Experience in leading complex marketing transformation projects for financial institutions.

• A strong history of building and maintaining C-level client relationships.

• Previous experience at Big 4 consulting firms, Tier 1 consultancies, or prominent marketing agencies is strongly preferred.

• Experience at the Partner, Managing Director, Principal, or Senior Manager level is required.
