This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Promote a data-driven culture, advocate for best practices, and influence crucial data science domains such as segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, churn prediction, and insights.

• Identify, design, prototype, and construct scalable end-to-end machine learning pipelines for Autodesk's eCommerce personalization.

• Develop and implement comprehensive experimentation frameworks that facilitate swift iteration and deployment of personalization models.

• Craft engaging narratives and logical recommendations derived from data and insights gained from machine learning models.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to initiate, lead, and successfully complete large-scale, complex strategic projects.

• Provide guidance to senior cross-functional leaders on project prioritization, scope, recommendations, and data-informed business decisions.

• Mentor and support junior data scientists and MLEs in project planning, technical choices, and reviewing code and documentation.

• Create and train machine learning models and algorithms aimed at delivering personalized recommendations for Autodesk's B2C eCommerce platforms.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related technical field.

• 10 years of experience in leading technical project strategy, machine learning design, and optimizing industry-scale machine learning infrastructure.

• 7 years of experience in design and architecture, as well as testing and launching software products.

• Over 10 years of practical experience in data mining and information retrieval.

• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.

• Strong grasp of statistics, probability, and financial modeling.

• Ability to convert data insights into tangible business impact.

• Preferred: MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline.

• Preferred: 15+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning design, development, and deployment, particularly in the eCommerce sector.

• Practical experience with cloud machine learning platforms such as AWS and Azure.

• Familiarity with MLOps best practices.
