
Senior Principal, AI Product Owner – Agentic AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Serve as the domain expert, providing a senior principal and consultant-level approach to develop and enhance best practices.
• Take ownership of the vision and roadmap for agentic AI products that manage multi-step tasks across supply chain and operations, including exception handling, planning, procurement, suppliers, and logistics operations.
• Collaborate with engineering to design multi-agent systems, focusing on orchestration, tool/function calling, memory, retrieval, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints, utilizing frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Establish autonomy levels, agent evaluation criteria, and reliability standards, while implementing observability for agent actions and outcomes.
• Maintain a balance between automation and control by designing escalation processes, approval gates, and fail-safes tailored for mission-critical operations.
• Work alongside data engineering and governance teams to evaluate and enhance the readiness of supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and operational data for AI, ensuring accuracy, completeness, lineage, timeliness, and accessibility.
• Advocate for data-quality standards, metadata, and master data essential for your products, conducting readiness assessments prior to production deployment.
• Establish and expand capabilities within Entegris’ AI, Data & Digital Enablement function, including reusable patterns, playbooks, reference architectures, and evaluation frameworks.
• Mentor product owners and analysts to enhance AI literacy and foster a community of practice, facilitating delivery scalability across the organization.
• Define and implement Responsible AI governance, addressing risk, security, data and intellectual property protection, model/solution oversight, audit trails, and compliance in alignment with Entegris policy and emerging AI regulations.
• Develop business cases, prioritize based on ROI, and track value against defined baselines such as cost-to-serve, working capital, cycle time, quality, and service.
• Profound knowledge of agentic architectures, including planning/reasoning loops, tool utilization, orchestration, retrieval, and human-in-the-loop design, along with the maturity to deploy them safely.
• Over 15 years of experience in enterprise data, software development practices, and/or product management/ownership, with at least 4 years of delivering AI/ML or data products and a proven track record of scaling solutions to production.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance data readiness for AI, focusing on quality, lineage, metadata, and accessibility.
• Proven experience in building and scaling new capabilities or practices within an organization.
• Familiarity with establishing AI governance, risk management, and Responsible AI controls.
• A history of creating value by linking AI products to quantifiable business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder leadership and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technical leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is a plus.
