📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive pricing initiatives for federal and state government proposals, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs), collaborating closely with business development, program delivery, and other essential stakeholders.

• Develop and enhance precise pricing models that meet specific solicitation needs while addressing critical inquiries from company leadership throughout the bidding process. This involves conducting cost-volume analysis, ensuring proposals are competitive, and validating compliance of price proposals.

• Guarantee that all pricing submissions comply with relevant FAR, DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other governmental regulations, frequently in cooperation with the Contracts and Finance teams.

• Create cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, travel, and other direct/indirect costs in pricing proposals, which encompasses aiding in the development and documentation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to support cost estimates, often within tight deadlines.

• Facilitate communication internally with company business partners and externally with team members, subcontractors, and prime contractors.

• Offer strategic assistance, thought partnership, and financial modeling to aid in the assessment of specific company-wide issues and financial inquiries.

• Leverage data, financial systems, and business insight to analyze trends in company financial performance and the implications of changes on business and pricing strategies.

• Formulate a variety of pricing strategies in partnership with Capture, Contracts, and Finance teams to boost competitiveness while safeguarding profitability.

• Recognize financial risks linked to proposal submissions and propose strategies for mitigation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in finance/accounting.

• At least 1 year of pricing experience in federal and state government contracting.

• Experience with pricing initiatives for federal agencies (e.g., GSA, HHS, VA, EPA) and state/local government agencies.

• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, GSA Schedule pricing, and state-specific procurement regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling, pivot tables, macros), Google Sheets, pricing software, and financial analysis tools.

• Exceptional financial modeling and data analysis capabilities with a strong attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills with internal teams, government clients, and external stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with Cost-Plus, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and other government contract types.

• Understanding of government accounting practices and indirect rate structures.

• Knowledge of grant-based pricing structures for federally funded state programs.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

• Excellent time management capabilities with strong attention to detail.

• High personal integrity, ethics, motivation, and the ability to promote mutual respect and inclusion.

• Capacity and resilience to cultivate, establish, and strengthen working relationships at all leadership and management levels, along with external stakeholders and clients.
