This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee the management of site payment vendors, ensuring accountability for the services described in the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Fair Market Value benchmarks and assessments to guide payment decisions.
• Manage global payment processes and oversee the overall study budget, specifically focusing on Poland while considering country-specific payment regulations.
• Support the execution of the SOW and Change Order processes, including monitoring project-related expenses as necessary.
• Assist with Research and Development (R&D) activities associated with clinical trial operations.
• Track project progress, identify variances, and implement corrective measures as needed, effectively communicating updates to all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with third-party site payment vendors to address payment discrepancies, historical issues, and fulfill monthly reporting requirements.
• Monitor payments owed to clinical research sites based on the negotiated unit prices outlined in site contracts.
• Report on invoice aging and outstanding payments in real time, adhering to established departmental protocols.
• Proactively manage the invoice review, approval, and payment processes, implementing risk mitigation strategies as needed and working with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with internal partners on invoice and payment discussions before engaging external partners and investigative sites to ensure consistent communication.
• Maintain transparent and consistent communication with external partners and investigative sites regarding payment activities throughout the study lifecycle.
• Perform predictive analysis using enterprise and departmental tools to forecast expected expenses.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications or experience in pricing analysis or clinical trial management are a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive experience in financial analysis, pricing strategy development, or cost management, preferably in the clinical research or healthcare sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex cost data, develop pricing models, and provide actionable insights for financial decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
