Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of pricing strategies from inception to implementation, ensuring that analyses are supported by data and financially viable.

• Convert business objectives into practical pricing use cases and experiments in collaboration with pricing and commercial teams.

• Track and assess the effects of pricing modifications on revenue, conversion rates, churn, and overall profitability.

• Examine customer, market, and product data to uncover pricing opportunities and emerging trends.

• Create and sustain models, dashboards, and reports that facilitate pricing decisions and track results.

• Deliver clear and actionable insights and recommendations to enhance pricing strategies across various segments.

• Serve as a bridge between the commercial team and the data/analytics department regarding pricing matters.

• Ensure that pricing initiatives are in harmony with commercial objectives and messaging.

• Clearly convey pricing insights, justifications, and results to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in pricing, commercial analytics, business analytics, or revenue management.

• Strong analytical and technical capabilities, including:

• Proficiency in advanced Excel and experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools preferred.

• Solid SQL skills for data querying and transformation.

• Familiarity with Python or another scripting language.

• Capacity to convert complex data into actionable business insights.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a commercial focus.

• Experience managing projects or initiatives from start to finish (including data collection, analysis, recommendations, and follow-up).

• Understanding of price elasticity, A/B testing, and optimization concepts, or a strong desire to develop these skills.

• Knowledge of financial modeling, impact analysis, and forecasting methods.
