Senior Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain advanced pricing models for new products and services utilizing cost-plus, value-based, and competitive pricing strategies.

• Perform consistent competitive market research and analysis to uncover trends, customer preferences, and prospects for pricing modifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft pricing proposals, budgets, and financial simulations for RFPs and contract revisions.

• Work in tandem with Product and Marketing teams to implement discount frameworks and promotional strategies that enhance margin optimization.

• Ensure the integrity of pricing data and governance processes, guaranteeing that all quotes and decisions align with company policy.

• Set up and track KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing initiatives; generate reports for management that showcase achievements and areas needing improvement.

• Partner with the Finance team to predict the revenue impact of pricing modifications and assist in precise financial reporting.

• Identify and introduce enhancements to pricing tools, workflows, and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy within the department.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related quantitative domain (experience in the education sector is advantageous).

• High-level proficiency in Excel (including VBA and Power Query) and experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI) or SQL.

• Comprehensive understanding of pricing methodologies, margin analysis, and statistical modeling.

• Demonstrated capacity to convert complex data sets into practical business recommendations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly present technical pricing data to non-technical stakeholders and mid-level management.

• Capability to excel in a dynamic environment, juggling multiple project deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related area.
