Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, FSI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Propel mission success for Federal agencies by designing modern, secure data infrastructure solutions in collaboration with leading Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs).

• Partner with FSI program leaders and Everpure Account Executives to overcome legacy storage challenges and secure valuable, long-term government contracts.

• Take ownership of the technical solution crafting and architecture design for significant Federal program RFPs/RFIs.

• Provide engaging technical deep-dives, tailored proofs-of-concept (PoCs), and demonstrations of FlashArray, FlashBlade, and Portworx® by Everpure™ to decision-makers within federal civilian and defense agencies.

• Instruct, train, and certify FSI partner engineers and architects on Everpure’s contemporary data management portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on knowledge of the FSI ecosystem, including the Federal procurement lifecycle, FAR regulations, and the technical avenues necessary to integrate proprietary solutions into major agency programs of record.

• Strong technical expertise in designing, troubleshooting, and presenting enterprise-level data storage, disaster recovery, and hybrid-cloud architectures, with practical experience in Kubernetes environments (preferably using Portworx® by Everpure™ and high-performance flash media).

• Current U.S. Federal security clearance (or the ability to obtain one), along with a comprehensive understanding of federal security standards, compliance regulations (such as FIPS, FedRAMP, NIST), and DoD Impact Levels.

• Outstanding communication abilities with a proven track record of establishing immediate technical credibility, aligning diverse stakeholders from systems engineers to program managers, and translating intricate technical advantages into clear mission outcomes.
