This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
β’ Take ownership of investor findings and remediation: Identify and resolve post-close defects in collaboration with QA and internal teams. Drive quick fixes to adhere to investor timelines and prevent delays.
β’ Oversee loan sale and investor delivery: Prepare and provide loan packages to investors. Monitor which loans are sellable versus blocked and take appropriate action.
β’ Ensure timely loan movement off the warehouse line: Monitor aging loans and ensure they do not remain inactive for extended periods. Minimize capital exposure by expediting loans through funding and sale.
β’ Coordinate funding readiness: Confirm all conditions prior to funding are satisfied. Reconcile payoffs, liens, and funding specifics. Notify Accounting when loans are ready for funding.
β’ Resolve insurance-related issues: Ensure policies are accurately bound. Address discrepancies that could hinder funding or sale processes.
β’ Opportunity for growth and leadership: This position starts as an individual contributor with full responsibility for post-close operations, with a clear trajectory towards team leadership and expanded functional ownership as the business grows.
β’ 3β5+ years of experience in mortgage operations, post-close, capital markets, or a related role.
β’ Familiarity with loan sales, warehouse lending, or investor delivery.
β’ Strong grasp of the loan lifecycle from closure to sale and the standards required by investors.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple loans and deadlines concurrently while troubleshooting complex operational challenges.
β’ Adaptable in a fast-paced, uncertain environment that evolves with our technology and business growth.
β’ High attention to detail and process-oriented approach.
β’ Self-motivated and proactive worker.
β’ Collaborative and innovative, with a strong desire for shared team success.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software tools.

β’ Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
