This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Take ownership of investor identification and remediation: Detect and address post-closing defects in collaboration with QA and internal teams. Expedite solutions to adhere to investor timelines and prevent delays.
• Oversee loan sales and investor deliveries: Prepare and send loan packages to investors. Monitor sellable loans versus those that are blocked and take necessary actions.
• Ensure loans are efficiently processed off the warehouse line: Supervise aging loans to prevent prolonged holding times. Minimize capital exposure by advancing loans through funding and sale.
• Coordinate funding readiness: Confirm all conditions prior to funding are satisfied. Reconcile payoffs, liens, and funding specifics. Notify Accounting when loans are primed for funding.
• Resolve insurance complications: Confirm policies are correctly bound. Address discrepancies that may hinder funding or sales.
• Opportunity for growth and leadership: This position starts as an individual contributor with complete responsibility for post-close operations, with a clear trajectory toward team leadership and wider functional responsibilities as the business expands.
• 3–5+ years of experience in mortgage operations, post-close, capital markets, or a related field.
• Familiarity with loan sales, warehouse lending, or investor delivery processes.
• Strong comprehension of the loan life cycle from closing to sale, along with investor requirements and documentation standards.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple loans and deadlines concurrently while troubleshooting complex operational challenges.
• Comfortable navigating a fast-paced and uncertain environment that will adapt as our technology and business evolve.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated and proactive worker.
• Collaborative and innovative, with a strong commitment to collective team success.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
• Adept at adapting to technological changes and evolving environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
