• Ensures that all program requirements and objectives are accurately gathered, understood, and effectively translated for execution.
• Assembles teams to achieve project goals and objectives for various enterprise-level projects.
• Collaborates with customers, whether internal or external, from the requirements gathering phase through to product acceptance.
• Aligns the program team with customer needs by establishing milestones, goals, and objectives informed by input from all functional areas and stakeholders involved in the enterprise project.
• Reviews project schedules alongside functional project managers and project coordinators assigned to the projects.
• Provides guidance and motivation to project teams to successfully meet project goals and corporate initiatives.
• Articulates project objectives in the context of overall strategic business goals.
• Acts as a liaison with customers, vendors, stakeholders, and project sponsors.
• Develops creative solutions to address critical customer and user needs.
• Manages the creation of project plans with a focus on achieving project goals and corporate initiatives, which includes project-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or metrics.
• Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for projects and manages the work within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost.
• Gathers and summarizes current project information and milestone status relative to the project performance baseline.
• Drives project and program tasks to completion in line with the project schedule.
• Coordinates team efforts to develop an integrated project plan and conduct a risk analysis with action plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Manages resource capacity and tracks time allocated to enterprise-level projects.
• Conducts financial management and analysis of costs for enterprise-level projects and programs, including Capital Expenditures Requests (CERs), travel, training, resource allocation, and other project-related expenses.
• Forecasts project budgets and labor requirements for current and future site needs.
• Remains accountable for the overall success of the program, including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management.
• Holds the team accountable for both individual and collective results.
• Balances cost, schedule, and timelines against the requirements of the enterprise-level project.
• Reports on project status, issues, and implemented solutions, along with assessments and evaluations of outcomes.
• Provides leadership with updates, highlighting significant opportunities for improvement.
• Identifies potential problem areas against the plan and develops and implements alternative solutions.
• Identifies optimal cost solutions to reduce expenses by streamlining processes and systems (e.g., modifying responsibilities, consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes, or completely re-engineering processes and systems).
• Supplies key stakeholders with regular updates on project performance status, variances from the plan, and corrective actions if necessary.
• Participates in the exchange of ideas and information within the department and across other Jabil facilities to ensure that best practices are disseminated throughout the company.
• Drives continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
• Demonstrates a commitment to customer service by anticipating, meeting, and exceeding expectations through quick and effective problem-solving, prioritizing customer issues.
• Guides others through challenging decision-making situations.
• Designs and facilitates training related to the implementation of enterprise initiatives.
• Engages and collaborates with customers within Jabil to gain a deeper understanding of their needs.
• Facilitates relevant, concise, and effective communication through various mediums.
• Crafts clear and consistent messages for diverse audiences, ensuring that delivery is both relevant and effective.
• Works closely with communications, stakeholders, and management to remain informed about critical company information to evaluate and measure program effectiveness and its impact on the business.
• Adheres to and complies with all procedures outlined in the company security policy.
• Leads teams across multiple regions and time zones.
• Travels to different regions as necessary based on program requirements.
• Identifies and understands interdependencies across various sites and functional areas.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is required.
• Must be skilled at navigating the diverse landscape regarding country cultures, company divisions, and internal hierarchies.
• Proficiency in using personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and email skills is required.
• Proficiency in project management software (such as Microsoft Project, Celoxis, Smartsheets, etc.) is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of work-related experience in project management or a related field is required.
• At least 8 years of work-related experience in regulated industries is required.
