Senior PMO Manager – Intelligent Utility Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a remote team of Project Managers tasked with delivering municipal technology projects from the award of the contract to project completion.

• Establish and implement standardized project management practices, governance, tools, and reporting mechanisms to ensure consistent outcomes across all initiatives.

• Act as the escalation point for intricate project risks, customer concerns, and interdepartmental challenges.

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with installation, integration, and construction subcontractors.

• Work collaboratively with Sales and Customer Success teams to facilitate smooth project transitions, clarify scope, and maintain customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Recruit, nurture, mentor, and retain a high-performing project management team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8–10+ years of experience in project or program management, including leading project management teams.

• Proven experience in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects—preferably in the utilities, infrastructure, construction, or technology sectors.

• Strong knowledge of contract management, subcontractor supervision, and financial performance indicators.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and exert influence without direct authority.

• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to engage customers, executive partners, and field teams effectively.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% - 35% of the time.
