Senior PLM/CAD Integrations Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze intricate customer challenges and collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create solutions that provide measurable value to customers.

• Design, develop, and sustain customer-oriented product functionalities across desktop and web platforms.

• Create integrations with leading CAD and PLM systems, facilitating seamless operations for engineering teams within their established Mechanical Engineering Lifecycle workflows.

• Work with colleagues to conceptualize new product features guided by customer needs, product strategy, and UX designs.

• Enhance the tools, architecture, and development methodologies that empower the team to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably.

• Engage in code reviews and assist in instituting engineering best practices throughout the team.

• Advocate for user experience, concentrating on performance, usability, and dependability.

• Contribute to discussions regarding product vision, technical direction, and roadmap planning.

• Mentor and assist fellow developers by providing technical guidance and constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional software development experience in production-level SaaS or desktop applications.

• Proficient in Java, C#, and/or Python, along with other object-oriented programming languages.

• Familiarity with version control, release management, and CI/CD processes.

• Experience with Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS would be an advantage.

• Knowledge of front-end build, package management, and testing tools such as Webpack, NPM, Jest, Cypress, etc., is desirable.

• Proven history of building and maintaining highly scalable products would be a plus.

• Enthusiasm for teamwork with a focus on respect and ongoing improvement.

• Experience with CAD integrations or engineering workflow software.

• Familiarity with Mechanical Engineering Lifecycle (MEL) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

• Knowledge of mechanical revision management, design collaboration, or engineering change processes.

• Experience developing integrations between CAD, PLM, ERP, or other engineering systems.

• Background in programming or extending platforms such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA, Autodesk Vault, or similar enterprise engineering solutions.

• Experience supporting CAD plugins, desktop extensions, or engineering productivity tools.

• Skills in reproducing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex PLM/CAD integration challenges.

• Experience handling engineering data, including BOMs, part management, document control, access management, engineering change oversight, and PLM-CAD-ERP integration scenarios.
