Senior Platform Engineer, Go, Kubernetes, IAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing Go.

• Contribute to the creation of a self-hosted SCIM solution.

• Deploy and provide support for applications operating within Kubernetes environments.

• Engage in discussions related to architecture and technical design.

• Collaborate with platform engineering and DevOps teams.

• Implement integrations with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and directory services.

• Support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and automation efforts.

• Contribute to best practices in cloud-native engineering.

• Troubleshoot and enhance platform performance and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong practical experience with Go (Golang).

• Proven experience in developing and supporting applications based on Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of cloud-native and containerized environments.

• Experience with enterprise systems involving multiple integrations.

• Knowledge of deployment and operational best practices.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English will be an advantage.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CDK8s, CDKTF, or comparable tools.

• Experience in Java and/or Groovy.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.

• Understanding of automated testing frameworks and practices.

• Knowledge of platform engineering concepts and architectures.

• Experience with IAM.

• Familiarity with SCIM protocol and user provisioning concepts.

• Experience with Identity & Access Management solutions.

• Hands-on experience with MidPoint will be a plus.

• Understanding of Identity Governance & Administration concepts.

• Experience with identity providers, federation, and role management.

• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, or similar directory services.
