β’ Streamline and uphold the CI/CD pipelines for a multi-project monorepo, ensuring they remain predictable, efficient, and usable by the wider engineering team without requiring specialized expertise.
β’ Strategically plan and implement infrastructure modifications incrementally, with well-defined rollout procedures, validation methods, and rollback strategies communicated to the team prior to commencement.
β’ Develop and sustain operational documentation, runbooks, monitoring systems, and alert mechanisms that empower other engineers to troubleshoot and address production issues independently.
β’ Collaborate with DevOps colleagues throughout the organization to ensure alignment on common infrastructure standards such as network architecture, permissions frameworks, and deployment methodologies.
β’ Directly contribute to application code in Python and Typescript when platform issues intersect with the application layer, including database performance, service configuration, or integration points.
β’ Collaborate with QA to guarantee that infrastructure modifications are adequately tested and that the team is confident in the deployments to each environment.
β’ Proactively utilize and advocate for AI tools to enhance infrastructure and developer experience initiatives.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE, with significant time spent in environments where reliability and compliance are critical.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or similar), alongside a strong understanding of networking fundamentals like load balancing, TLS termination, and proxy configuration.
β’ Proficient in Python and willing to engage across the stack when platform issues spill into application code.
β’ Has successfully built and maintained CI/CD pipelines that are trusted by other engineers, and has carried out infrastructure changes incrementally rather than through high-risk large-scale rollouts.
β’ Experience in a small team setting, where balancing speed, simplicity, and quality is essential, rather than relying on enterprise-scale tools.
β’ Regularly employs AI tools in daily tasks to speed up delivery while upholding high standards for security and code quality.
β’ Effectively communicates and collaborates across engineering, QA, and compliance stakeholders.
β’ Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
β’ 401K plan with employer matching.
β’ Work-life balance.
β’ Flexible work location to accommodate employees in the evolving pandemic-influenced reality.
β’ Opportunity to collaborate with visionaries in healthcare technology.
