This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Taking a leading role in the management of small to medium-scale planning applications, overseeing every phase of the project from preparation to submission.
β’ Coordinating efforts with Planning Consultants, Graduate Consultants, and Administrative staff.
β’ Assisting senior colleagues on larger and more intricate TCPA, DNS, and NSIP projects.
β’ Executing tasks assigned by project leads.
β’ Chartered Planner or Licentiate Planner progressing towards RTPI status.
β’ Strong to comprehensive knowledge of the UK planning system and its processes.
β’ Experience in managing planning applications, including leading small to medium-scale projects and supporting or leading major TCPA and DNS applications.
β’ Capability to manage applications from preparation through submission and delivery.
β’ Experience in coordinating, mentoring, and delegating tasks to consultants, graduates, and administrative personnel.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while recognizing when senior input is necessary.
β’ Proven track record of supporting or leading complex TCPA, DNS, and NSIP planning projects.
β’ Excellent report-writing and communication skills, producing high-quality planning documentation and correspondence.
β’ Ability to develop planning strategies and identify critical planning issues related to development sites.
β’ Confident stakeholder management abilities, including participation in or leadership of client, project, and Local Planning Authority meetings.
β’ Experience in engaging with the community and leading consultation activities.
β’ Strong presentation and public speaking skills, including contributing to or chairing meetings and addressing small audiences.
β’ Capacity to make sound project decisions and escalate significant issues when necessary.
β’ Established or developing professional network with a proactive approach to relationship building and business development.
β’ Interest and engagement in business development activities, including identifying and supporting new business opportunities.
β’ Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and workload management skills.
β’ Ability to effectively delegate, support junior colleagues, and ensure high levels of team productivity.
β’ Strong commercial awareness and capability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
β’ Team-oriented mindset with the ability to identify, communicate, and resolve resourcing or workload challenges.
