This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Capability to conduct or review nondiscrimination testing and other compliance-related activities carried out by the plan compliance team.
• Engage in the professional development of the plan compliance team by offering ERISA technical guidance and quality review feedback.
• In-depth knowledge of qualified plan retirement contributions (including New Comparability).
• Conduct QDRO reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness, determining the award for the alternate payee.
• Evaluate death distributions to identify beneficiaries and payout periods.
• Revise compliance materials, participant forms, letters, and distribution packages in accordance with legal changes/disclosures within recordkeeping software and client web access.
• Efficiently resolve escalated technical issues from clients and/or internal personnel.
• Recognize and leverage internal and external resources for compliance solutions.
• Offer plan design assistance for existing and onboarding clients.
• Take part in compliance-related projects and other assigned tasks.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of regulations governing qualified plans.
• A college degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
• QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Retirement or Pension is preferred.
• Proficient in operating a PC, calculator, copy/scan/fax machine, and telephone.
• Familiarity with software such as Relius Administration, FTWilliams, CRM, Access, Excel, Word, Adobe, and Relius Documents.
• Ability to comprehend and analyze plan documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
