This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and evaluate in vivo pharmacokinetics (PK)/pharmacodynamics (PD), pharmacokinetics (PK), and toxicokinetics (TK) studies across various veterinary species, including the preparation of study protocols and reports.
• Deliver PK and PK/PD modeling and simulation to assist in the selection of lead candidates and the optimization of dosing regimens.
• Collaborate with the bioanalytical team to evaluate the appropriateness of analytical assays and predict analytical needs for projects.
• Spearhead the development of scientific strategies across therapeutic areas, emphasizing mechanistic platforms/biomarkers to support translation, target engagement measurement, and dose regimen forecasting.
• Work in a cooperative manner and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute studies that align with the project's strategic objectives.
• Present research findings to scientific teams, management, and regulatory bodies.
• Write sections for regulatory submissions, address inquiries from regulatory agencies, and stay informed about regulatory guidance documents.
• Ph.D. in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of post-doctoral experience in pharmaceutical development is highly desirable.
• DVM DACVCP or DVM Dipl. ECVPT is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design, analyze, and interpret in vivo PK and PK/PD studies.
• Experience with biotherapeutics (protein therapeutics) is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in using PK and PK/PD analysis software such as WinNonlin, Monolix, or Watson.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, capable of prioritizing tasks and working efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with bioanalytical methodologies.
• Experience in PK/PD modeling and simulation techniques such as PBPK, QSP, or population PK modeling using NONMEM, R, or similar software is highly desirable.
