This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee a portfolio consisting of 100–125 donors and prospects with major gift capacities ranging from $100K to $1M and principal gift capacities of $1M or more.
• Independently implement gift strategies for amounts between $100K and $500K; for solicitations of $500K to $1M, collaborate with the AVP as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the AVP to develop and execute strategies for gifts exceeding $1M.
• Meet assigned annual revenue targets based on the portfolio's potential, typically aiming for $2.5M to $3M in the first year, with growth to $3M–$5M thereafter.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline by actively cultivating a minimum of 10–15 qualified prospects capable of making $1M+ contributions at all times.
• Engage proactively and consistently with the AVP as a strategic partner on initiatives involving $1M+ donations.
• Establish and nurture intricate, multi-year relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families capable of making gifts ranging from $100K to over $5M.
• Collaborate with chapter Territory Executives, Philanthropic Engagement staff, volunteer leaders, and national teams to formulate and execute comprehensive donor engagement strategies.
• At least 8 years of experience in major gift fundraising, with a proven track record of successfully closing gifts of $500,000 or more.
• Preferred experience in a matrixed, chapter-based organization or a similarly complex environment.
• Proven capability to develop and execute strategies for principal gifts ($1M+), with documented evidence of maintaining a qualified pipeline for $1M+ prospects.
• Proactive and collaborative approach; promotes and embraces active partnerships with senior leadership on complex accounts.
• Strong relationship management abilities with donors, advisors, volunteers, and cross-functional team members.
• Skillful in creating and presenting complex, multi-asset gift strategies, including outright, planned, and blended gifts.
• Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems; exhibits strong data management and analytical skills in portfolio oversight.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; an advanced degree or CFRE is preferred.
