This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Full ownership of client-specific business strategy projects, encompassing client relationship management, initial planning and strategy formulation, comprehensive research and analysis, meticulous execution, and delivery to the client.

• Project examples include organizational assessments, PBM or vendor contract evaluations, process gap analyses, market and landscape evaluations, go-to-market strategies, and distinctive clinical or quality initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.

• Cultivate and sustain multi-level client relationships while gaining a profound understanding of the client’s business and corporate culture, resulting in elevated client satisfaction and retention rates.

• Craft and execute tailored strategic plans according to individual client requirements to meet specified long- and short-term objectives.

• Provide client-specific insights on industry developments and utilize PSG’s premier research to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations consistently.

• Recognize opportunities to involve internal PSG experts in customized projects and analyses.

• Oversee the renewal of client relationships by developing strategy, defining the scope of services, and establishing an appropriate fee structure aligned with client needs.

• Evaluate the potential for expanding PSG services within current client relationships.

• Leverage client relationships to aid PSG’s prospecting initiatives by developing client references.

• Engage in conferences and other forums to showcase program experiences and successes.

• Participate in internal workgroups to create new programs, services, corporate positions, and publications based on ongoing assessments of client and market demands.

• Direct the development and management of procurement, market checks, and request for proposal (RFP) strategies and processes for clients, including RFP creation, vendor selection meetings, and contract execution in collaboration with the internal RFP coordinator.

• Participate in non-client RFP processes through scoring and assisting in client meetings.

• Lead the review process for new and renewing vendor contracts through to final execution, ensuring adherence to current terms, definitions, and compliance with RFP requirements.

• Negotiate industry-leading business terms and conditions on behalf of PSG clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• A solid understanding of PBM, pharmacy, and managed care environments (minimum of 3-5 years of experience).

• Capability to devise strategies and implement programs for large client Rx and medical benefit programs.

• Proficiency in creating client-facing written materials and communications utilizing Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities and client relationship management experience, with the capacity to adapt your style to accommodate various perspectives and seniority levels.

• Robust financial analysis skills using Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in Pharmacy Benefits or Managed Care, with a bachelor’s degree; MBA or PharmD/RPh is highly preferred.
