📋 Description

• Complete ownership of client-specific business strategy initiatives. This entails managing client relationships, conducting thorough planning and strategy development, performing in-depth research and analysis, ensuring effective execution, and delivering results to clients.

• Project examples encompass organizational assessments, reviews of PBM or vendor contracts, process gap evaluations, market and landscape analyses, go-to-market strategies, and distinctive clinical or quality initiatives that enhance healthcare delivery.

• Establish and nurture appropriate multi-level client relationships while gaining a comprehensive understanding of client businesses and corporate cultures, leading to high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

• Create and execute tailored strategic plans based on the specific needs of clients to meet both long-term and short-term objectives.

• Provide insights tailored to clients on industry developments while utilizing PSG’s premier research capabilities to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations continuously.

• Identify opportunities to involve internal PSG experts in custom projects and analyses.

• Oversee the renewal of client relationships and devise strategies, scopes of service, and suitable fee structures to align with client requirements.

• Evaluate opportunities for expanding PSG services within current client relationships.

• Utilize client relationships to bolster PSG's prospecting efforts by developing client references.

• Engage in conferences and other forums to highlight program experiences and successes.

• Participate in internal workgroups to create new programs, services, corporate policies, and publications based on ongoing evaluations of client and market needs.

• Lead the development and management of procurement, market checks, and the request for proposal (RFP) strategy and process for clients, including RFP creation, vendor selection meetings, and contract execution in conjunction with the internal RFP coordinator.

• Take part in non-client RFP processes through scoring and assisting with client meetings.

• Oversee the review process for new and renewing vendor contracts through final execution, ensuring compliance with current terms, definitions, and RFP requirements.

• Negotiate industry-leading business terms and conditions on behalf of PSG clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with PBM, pharmacy, and managed care environments (minimum of 3-5 years of experience).

• Capability to develop strategies and implement programs for large client Rx and medical benefit programs.

• Proficiency in creating client-facing written materials and communications using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills and client relationship management experience, with the flexibility to adapt your style to various perspectives and seniority levels.

• Advanced financial analysis skills utilizing Microsoft Excel.

• Background in Pharmacy Benefits or Managed Care, along with a bachelor’s degree; MBA or PharmD/RPh is strongly preferred.
