Medication History Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect and validate comprehensive medication lists and patient allergy information.

• Record all medication specifics in electronic health records.

• Conduct interviews with patients and caregivers, and collaborate with pharmacists to address discrepancies.

• Support quality assurance data, clinical services, order processing, and assist pharmacists with data entry and insurance claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid State Pharmacy Technician License.

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician; at least 1 year in Medication Reconciliation/History within hospital settings.

• Preferred: Experience in prescription data entry and project coordination.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, and/or MediTech systems.

• Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technological abilities; must be available for emergencies.
