Pharmacy Care Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Support in accurately reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the computer system.

• Calculation of dosages and provision of instructions.

• Timely acceptance of proper insurance payments.

• Direct incomplete or ambiguous prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification.

• Assist with incoming phone inquiries.

• Engage with customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address questions.

• Resolve issues, provide educational resources, and uphold high-quality service standards.

• Facilitate new patient enrollment and verify insurance coverage.

• Conduct benefit investigations and process medication orders for both new and existing patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within 75 miles of Orlando, Florida.

• At least six months of experience in a pharmacy technician position.

• Six months of experience with Windows-based applications including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email software.

• Six months of computer keyboarding skills and proficiency.

• Active and valid Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as mandated by the State of FL.

• Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of your computer.

• Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps.

• Secure and private home workspace that is free from distractions.
