Senior Pharmacovigilance Officer, Team Lead – Medical Device Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Leads the team overseeing ICSR management for a designated project or group of projects as the Team Leader, while also managing ICSR staff.

• Ensures proper distribution of responsibilities for assigned projects and teams, supervising the workflow process.

• Guarantees effective collaboration with clients in the realm of ICSR Management through strategic activities.

• Contributes towards the achievement of the company’s goals and objectives.

• Works under the guidance of the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Provides assistance to other initiatives undertaken by the project team on behalf of both the client and the company.

• Develops and maintains project-specific KPIs for contracted ICSR activities, which includes optimizing procedures, training, and other measures to enhance ICSR team efficiency.

• Suggests process improvements to the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Manages ICSR deviations with the support of the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Reviews trackers and timesheet data to ensure their accuracy.

• Participates in ICSR processing and second quality control of cases.

• Provides support to other departments, as approved and directed by the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Functions as the subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned team.

• Supports the RA & PV Network Department as necessary, including serving as the Local Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance (LCPPV) for the specified country and taking on the role of Person Responsible for Local Screening (PRLS) for the designated language, as agreed with the line manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or other healthcare-related qualifications, or relevant experience in pharmacovigilance.

• Significant prior work experience in pharmacovigilance, with at least one year in a line management role.

• Experience with medical devices is required.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational abilities, including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.

• Proficient delegation skills.

• Effective planning and time management skills.

• Technical proficiency.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).

• Advanced literacy in MS Office.
