This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate and Enhance: Work closely with a dynamic team of creatives, sharing your expertise to elevate the quality of the output.
• Provide a quick, intelligent, and culturally aware creative viewpoint that shapes the team's results without needing formal managerial authority.
• Take the Lead on the Canadian Launch: Serve as a pivotal creative voice in our international growth into Canada, ensuring that content resonates with local culture, tone, and market specifics across all platforms and touchpoints.
• Act as the Compliance Guardian: Ensure that every asset is crafted to succeed while adhering to regulations. This includes staying informed on responsible gaming standards, offer disclaimers, age-gating, and Canadian regulatory requirements across provinces.
• Enhance Engagement: Manage the production of impactful content across social media, user-generated content, and influencer channels. Meet deadlines, adhere to budgets, and create work that truly resonates with audiences.
• Be Present On Set: Travel to and oversee campaign shoots, bringing creative concepts to life on location. Handle on-set logistics, direct talent, and ensure that captured content aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives.
• Expand Creator & UGC Programs: Identify, mentor, and grow a network of content creators—especially Canadian voices—who can authentically represent the Hard Rock Digital brand in vertical, mobile-first formats.
• Engage in Hands-On Creation: Actively edit short-form videos, create reels, design stories, and produce assets tied to timely events such as live games, major wins, or new market entries.
• Transform Strategy Into Action: Collaborate closely with Creative and Marketing leadership to convert offers, promotions, and campaign briefs into content strategies that resonate with Canadian audiences.
• Analyze & Adapt: Examine content performance metrics to enhance creative output, experiment with new formats, and quickly improve based on effective strategies.
• Oversee Budgets & Resources: Manage production budgets, negotiate creator agreements, and maximize every dollar spent.
• Over 5 years of experience in a creative production role, preferably with a background in brand or digital marketing and short-form video content.
• Strong understanding (or keen interest) in iGaming, sports betting, or casino content—experience with Canadian markets is highly advantageous.
• A portfolio filled with mobile-first, short-form video content—TikToks, Reels, and story-driven executions are particularly valued.
• Experience in scaling influencer or UGC initiatives across platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram.
• Proficient in interpreting content performance data to guide creative decisions and adaptations.
• Knowledgeable about platform nuances and trends across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and more—you understand what works and why.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Bonus points if you have experience with Figma or Photoshop.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content tools, including video and image generation platforms (e.g., Runway, Pika, Sora, Midjourney) as well as AI-enhanced editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Topaz Video AI).
• Comfortable utilizing AI to streamline production workflows, generate creative variations, and stay ahead of new content formats.
• Able to collaborate with legal and compliance teams in a regulated industry, with familiarity (or a willingness to learn) about Canadian gaming regulations.
