Senior Perception Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and commercialize NVIDIA's autonomous driving technologies.

• Create top-tier perception solutions.

• Architect and implement perception software modules.

• Enhance the robustness, efficiency, and reusability of software components.

• Manage the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Write well-structured, testable code.

• Integrate perception software modules into fully operational software systems.

• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance protocols.

• Document and uphold software functionality.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• Stay aligned with project timelines and industry standards.

• Deploy cutting-edge perception DNN models on embedded systems.

• Analyze and enhance systems utilizing both real and synthetic benchmark data.

• Collaborate closely with perception engineers and researchers.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related disciplines (or equivalent experience).

• Over 12 years of demonstrated experience on embedded platforms for real-time applications as a Software Engineer or Developer.

• Strong programming expertise in C++ and Python.

• Familiarity with test-driven development methodologies.

• Experience with a structured, design-oriented approach to software development.

• Proficient in software engineering tools.

• Capable of documenting requirements and specifications effectively.

• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.

• Experience with CUDA / SIMD technologies.

• Practical experience in deploying DNN models on embedded platforms for real-time applications.

• Hands-on experience in utilizing simulated/synthetic data to enhance machine learning model accuracy.

• Background in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Proficiency in integration and testing on actual hardware/robotic platforms.
