Senior People Partner – Legal, Compliance, Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business and serve as a strategic HR partner to executives and leaders across Legal, Compliance, and Risk.

• Employ a consultative approach that merges HR expertise, business acumen, and intuition to identify issues and deliver innovative HR solutions.

• Counsel leaders and managers on various people-related matters, including performance management & coaching, employee relations, leveling processes, and organizational development.

• Monitor organizational health closely and design interventions to address potential challenges or areas of risk as they arise.

• Collaborate with cross-functional People team colleagues to develop impactful programs that encompass recruiting, talent management, employee relations, internal mobility, and employee engagement.

• Lead essential talent processes with your client groups, including annual performance reviews, talent planning, and compensation cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.

• Have 7-10+ years of experience in a people-facing HR role, including at least 2 years as an HRBP. Ideally, your experience is primarily with high-growth companies.

• Demonstrate proficiency in coaching, facilitation, and influencing colleagues at various levels.

• Enjoy creating thoughtful, innovative people processes that can scale effectively.

• Be prepared to address challenging issues and advocate for your beliefs.

• Exhibit a passion for tackling problems and resolving them in a creative and principled manner.

• Maintain a high level of integrity and handle confidential information with discretion.

• Have enthusiasm for working efficiently with top-notch tools, propose new tools for improvement, and be open to learning the tools currently in use (Radford, Workday, Lattice, Notion).
