This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the HRBP relationship for designated business groups, focusing on performance management, employee relations, talent development, organizational design, and team wellbeing.
• Actively coach managers to enhance their capabilities.
• Oversee and refine performance cycles, Pulse surveys, talent assessments, and associated programs.
• Present trends and insights to leadership along with actionable recommendations linked to business outcomes.
• Independently handle employee relations cases, sensitive situations, and conflict resolution effectively.
• Thoroughly document employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality.
• Organize manager enablement workshops, internal learning sessions, and program implementations.
• Manage internal communications related to people topics.
• Identify and execute automation across People workflows, documentation, reporting, and reactive tasks.
• Take ownership and optimize the people technology stack.
• Ensure the accuracy of HR data and provide regular insights through reporting.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Maintain accurate and compliant records.
• Continuously work to reduce manual overhead and enhance cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate internally on PEO-administered benefits and compliance matters.
• Act as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and vendor escalations.
• Highlight significant regulatory changes that necessitate internal action.
• 5–8 years of experience in HR.
• A minimum of 3–5 years in a genuine HRBP or business partner role.
• A foundation in people operations and a readiness to stay hands-on.
• Proven experience in independently managing performance management, employee relations, and coaching for managers.
• Attention to detail and near-perfect execution where it matters most.
• Strong proficiency with AI and active engagement with AI tools.
• Solid business acumen, including an understanding of headcount trade-offs and implications for organizational design.
• Experience in facilitating manager enablement workshops and rolling out internal communications.
• Strong systems-thinking abilities.
• Background in significantly improving or implementing HR tools.
• Experience within a startup or rapidly growing company.
• Familiarity with tools such as Culture Amp, HiBob, Deel (EOR), or Sequoia One (PEO) is advantageous.
• Must answer required application questions regarding work authorization and visa sponsorship in Canada or the United States.
