This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver text-based online emotional wellbeing and mental health support and guidance to children and young individuals in accordance with the iThrive clinical model.
• Evaluate and address the risks and requirements of each service user.
• Provide appropriate signposting and complete referrals as necessary.
• Conduct thorough assessments and formulations of the needs and desires of children and young people.
• Offer short- and mid-term support and interventions for physical, emotional, and mental health challenges and distress.
• Provide ongoing case support and interventions for individuals with complex mental health issues and/or those requiring risk support.
• Execute responsibilities in compliance with legal requirements, internal policies, safeguarding protocols, and data protection laws.
• Keep precise case notes and records using Kooth-approved systems and processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external professionals/services regarding safeguarding matters and concerns.
• Accurately maintain shift-duty and activity information through the scheduling and rota system.
• Participate in and contribute to clinical supervision, clinical support, training, team meetings, and organizational meetings.
• Attend management supervision sessions to evaluate clinical work and performance against established KPIs.
• A degree in a relevant field such as social care, mental health nursing, counselling, social work, psychology, or an equivalent professional qualification; or substantial relevant experience in previous roles demonstrating significant professional training in mental health support and engaging individuals facing emotional wellbeing or mental health challenges.
• Familiarity and understanding of safeguarding policies and legislation concerning adult and child protection.
• Ongoing specialized training in mental health (desirable).
• Training in Suicide Prevention and Self-Harm Mitigation (desirable).
• Training in safeguarding and risk management interventions (desirable).
• Training in Adult Safeguarding & Child Protection (desirable).
• Availability for rota-based hours, which may include weekend shifts.
• Capability to work shifts ranging from 5 to 8 hours.
• Enhanced DBS screening required prior to appointment.
