This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, which includes structuring Day 1 activities, coordinating orientation, and managing onboarding surveys.
• Collaborate with payroll teams in the US and Canada/International to ensure proper setup for new hires, manage employee changes, and address compliance matters.
• Oversee the administration of leaves of absence from the initial intake through to the employee's return, including vendor coordination and payroll reconciliation for leave-related exceptions.
• Assist with RSU grant administration by adhering to established workflows, cross-referencing employee data with offer letters, confirming vesting schedules, and preparing audit documentation for Board of Directors approval.
• Perform I-9 and work authorization verifications, including liaising with the Immigration team regarding CPT/OPT and similar cases.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS and associated systems.
• Compose and manage communications directed at employees regarding program updates and policy modifications.
• Adhere to established processes for recurring People Ops activities and identify any process gaps or issues.
• Provide on-demand reporting and analysis to assist People Ops and leadership.
• Report directly to the Manager of People Operations and collaborate with various departments, candidates, employees, and vendors.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR/People Operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Experienced with HRIS systems; ADP WFN is preferred.
• Familiarity with leave administration and payroll coordination.
• Exceptional judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote-first setting.
• Capable of following documented processes with minimal supervision.
