This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical authority and subject matter expert for UKG Pro encompassing Core HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, Learning, Performance, Compensation, BI reporting, Bryte AI, and future modules.

• Maintain platform health, architecture, configuration standards, governance, technical guardrails, data integrity, and ensure long-term stability.

• Collaborate with the Director of People Operations & Systems to manage the technical UKG roadmap.

• Function as the product owner and project manager by receiving, triaging, prioritizing, and fulfilling platform requests.

• Oversee hands-on configuration, testing, and deployment of enhancements, workflows, and integrations.

• Serve as the technical lead for UKG implementations, upgrades, and reconfigurations.

• Coordinate with vendors and consulting partners.

• Collaborate with Finance on the WFM platform RFP and future system evaluations.

• Utilize Claude and Copilot 365 to enhance documentation, testing, workflow automation, and analytics.

• Manage the UKG BI reporting architecture, including standard reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analytics.

• Act as the system owner for UKG internal controls, access, validation, and ensure audit-ready configurations.

• Partner in data quality audits and People Analytics reporting.

• Provide People Operations, Payroll, and Finance with system tools, documentation, and reporting.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison with UKG and external HRIS partners.

• Facilitate issue resolution, provide impact assessments and technical guidance, and proactively communicate status and risks.

• Train stakeholders and document workflows.

• Manage and mentor the People Systems team.

• Establish standards, documentation, and repeatable processes.

• Support hiring, onboarding, and growth planning as the team evolves.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on expertise in UKG Pro covering Core HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, Learning, Performance, Compensation, and BI reporting.

• Familiarity with UKG WFM or a similar time and attendance platform.

• Strong comprehension of HRIS architecture, system design, and data flows both upstream and downstream.

• Capacity to convert complex business requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions.

• Proficient in testing and quality discipline, ensuring controlled validation before changes are implemented.

• Skills in change management, including sequencing, communication, and training.

• Foundational data literacy and a keen interest in understanding the business.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous requests while ensuring quality and responsiveness.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to influence others across Payroll, Finance, IT, and People teams without formal authority.

• Capacity to document system standards, decisions, and workflows clearly.

• Working knowledge of Claude and Copilot 365, with a demonstrated interest in applying AI to HR technology workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 7 years of progressive HRIS or People Systems experience.

• Significant hands-on ownership of UKG Pro in a complex, multi-functional environment.

• Experience as a technical system owner or platform lead through multiple release cycles.

• Proven experience leading UKG implementations, enhancements, or major system changes.

• Experience coordinating with vendors and internal partners.

• Previous technical mentorship, coaching, or people leadership experience, ideally in a player-coach role within a small HRIS or People Systems team.
