This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
• Act as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Workday, overseeing ongoing configuration, maintenance, optimization, and support for various HR modules (e.g., Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, Learning, Reporting).
• Develop, configure, and maintain Workday business processes, including approvals, security roles, data validations, and calculated fields.
• Oversee Workday releases and enhancements, encompassing requirements gathering, impact analysis, testing, deployment, and communication.
• Resolve system issues, monitor integrations, address configuration challenges, and collaborate with vendors or Workday support as necessary.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and a positive user experience for employees, managers, and HR personnel.
• Design, implement, and enhance end-to-end people operations processes, utilizing Workday where applicable, but not exclusively to Workday-based solutions.
• Evaluate current workflows across the employee lifecycle and redesign processes to boost efficiency, clarity, scalability, and employee experience.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of HR workflows, policies, procedures, business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to proactively respond to evolving needs.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements that streamline People Operations and encourage innovation.
• Manage people operations and systems-related projects throughout the entire lifecycle: from requirements gathering to configuration, testing, implementation, and adoption.
• Conduct data analysis related to talent attraction, development, performance, and retention to address key business inquiries.
• Identify significant analytics and insights to enhance workforce planning, operational effectiveness, and employee experience.
• Create dashboards and reports, evaluate usage, and enable data self-service for the organization.
• Design and implement surveys for candidates, new hires, and employees, including the annual employee engagement survey.
• Develop training materials, presentations, job aids, and documentation to facilitate understanding of processes and systems.
• Stay updated on HR systems, data strategies, and best practices to continually enhance how technology serves the business.
• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Workday administration and configuration.
• Strong understanding of HR information systems, particularly in Workday.
• Proven experience in designing and enhancing people operations processes beyond mere system configuration.
• Solid grasp of core HR functions (recruiting, leave of absence, performance management, compensation, learning, etc.).
• Excellent project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Data-driven and analytical; enjoys identifying metrics and insights to address business challenges.
• Capability to manage confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with a diverse range of business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adaptability.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Word, MS Forms, Power BI, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
