β€’ Act as the main People partner for senior leaders within Engineering, providing support in organizational design, leadership coaching, sensitive employee relations, and talent strategy within the security sector.

β€’ Function as a reliable advisor by cultivating relationships with technically-focused leaders and converting People strategy into terms and actions that resonate within engineering organizations.

β€’ Collaborate with InfoSec, TA Ops, and Legal on ongoing employee integrity initiatives, including identity verification processes, insider threat response protocols, and KYE (Know Your Employee) programs.

β€’ Assist with People diligence and integration planning for current and future acquisitions impacting Engineering functions, which includes cultural assessments and Day 1 readiness.

β€’ Lead the creation and implementation of thorough people strategies alongside senior Engineering leadership.

β€’ Take charge of existing HR programs across various technical client groups, showcasing strong initiative and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.

β€’ Actively engage with business operations, forecasting needs and assisting team members to improve organizational culture and employee satisfaction in high-pressure, high-stakes settings.

β€’ Share best practices while advocating for 360 feedback within the HR team to foster continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 5 years of generalist HR or business partner experience, demonstrating success in supporting technical, engineering, or security-focused organizations β€” this is a critical differentiator, not an advantage.

β€’ Experience in regulated sectors (such as gaming, fintech, financial services, legal, healthcare, or similar) where compliance-related HR work, confidentiality, and employee integrity are integral to the role.

β€’ Proven ability to manage complex, sensitive employee relations issues and investigations from start to finish, including cases requiring legal coordination and regulatory considerations.

β€’ AI-oriented mindset: shown curiosity and experience in utilizing AI tools in daily HR functions. Our team heavily relies on AI, and we expect our PBPs to be active contributors to our AI Rewire program.

β€’ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills β€” capable of articulating complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences, including highly technical leaders who may be skeptical of HR, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

β€’ Experience in strategic HR and employment law, including handling multi-jurisdictional complexities (US, UK, Ireland, and other international markets).

β€’ Knowledge of immigration regulations and processes to provide informed guidance and support within a globally distributed workforce.

β€’ Proven experience in leading cross-functional collaborations and steering complex projects to successful completion in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

β€’ Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and sound judgment β€” especially in high-stakes, confidential, or security-sensitive scenarios.

β€’ Ability to synthesize people data and convert patterns into actionable insights for senior technical leaders.

β€’ Experience in supporting organizations through M&A activity, rapid growth, or significant restructuring.

β€’ Willingness to travel regularly to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite meetings and team gatherings.
