Senior PCI QSA Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• The PCI-QSA Senior Consultant is tasked with conducting PCI DSS compliance assessments and audits to ensure that client environments adhere to relevant security standards.

• This position merges technical knowledge, audit execution, and client advisory to pinpoint risks, evaluate controls, and assist organizations in achieving and sustaining compliance.

• Execute PCI DSS assessments, which include both on-site and remote audits.

• Assess the design and operational effectiveness of security controls.

• Review client documentation, systems, and processes to determine compliance readiness.

• Record audit procedures, findings, and suggestions.

• Identify compliance deficiencies and provide guidance for remediation.

• Prepare organized and clear audit reports and deliverables.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the engagement process.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and audit methodologies.

• Assist clients in comprehending compliance requirements and the subsequent steps.

• Keep abreast of PCI DSS standards and the evolution of security practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in information security.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in PCI DSS assessments (internal, external, or QSA).

• Proven experience in conducting security audits or compliance engagements.

• Active QSA certification is mandatory.

• Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are advantageous.

• Strong understanding of PCI DSS and compliance requirements.

• Comprehensive knowledge of network security, segmentation, access controls, and encryption.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in Cybersecurity, Information Systems/MIS, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
