Senior Payroll Consultant – UKG Ready

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive payroll implementations within UKG Ready, covering discovery, configuration, testing, and go-live phases.

• Set up payroll elements, including earnings, deductions, federal, state, and local tax configurations, direct deposit protocols, pay rules, garnishments, and child support.

• Configure builds for UKG Payroll services.

• Transform payroll data and historical records into formats compatible with UKG Ready.

• Set up GL files for various accounting systems.

• Provide support for payroll-related integrations, including timekeeping, benefits, and general ledger.

• Foster strong relationships with clients by offering high-quality advisory services and support.

• Contribute to enhancements in internal processes, participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, and support practice development.

• Engage in internal initiatives aimed at improving team efficiency and excellence in delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of practical consulting experience with the UKG Ready payroll module.

• In-depth understanding of multi-state payroll compliance.

• Experience with garnishments, tax filings, and year-end payroll processes.

• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation.

• Exceptional communication and client-facing abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• UKG Ready certification is required.

• Previous experience in implementation or consulting is preferred.

• Familiarity with payroll GL mapping and financial integrations.
