This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead and support a German payroll team, including conducting regular one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations.
• Facilitate Continuous Performance Discussions (CPD) and quarterly goal-setting sessions with team members.
• Serve as a point of escalation for client-related issues concerning German payrolls, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Ensure payroll accuracy through performance reviews and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
• Monitor individual and team training requirements, fostering continuous skill development.
• Oversee the complete German payroll processing in accordance with CloudPay's governance and service standards.
• Guarantee compliance with payroll calendar deadlines, service level agreements, and accuracy expectations.
• Collaborate with fellow German Payroll Supervisors and subject matter experts to deliver cohesive services.
• Partner with the German Payroll Manager to sustain and improve payroll operations.
• Propose and implement process enhancements to elevate team efficiency and service quality.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members, offering structured support.
• Investigate payroll data discrepancies and ensure compliance with procedures prior to processing.
• Conduct cross-checks and validations to confirm payroll results meet compliance standards.
• Maintain precise records and documentation to facilitate audits and internal controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery, including salary disbursements aligned with client service level agreements.
• Prepare and submit statutory declarations to relevant authorities as necessary.
• Generate regular and ad hoc payroll reports, addressing special client requests with diligence and accuracy.
• Proven experience in supervising or mentoring team members within a payroll or operational setting.
• Proficient in both English and German.
• Expertise in German end-to-end payroll processing, encompassing local statutory requirements.
• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during peak periods.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, as well as email and internet-based tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Capability to engage in strategic discussions and offer insights to leadership.
• Comfortable collaborating across departments and regions to promote process improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric and collaborative approach.
