This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee the complete procure-to-pay (P2P) process, which includes creating purchase orders, performing 3-way matching, and capturing invoices in Xero.
• Ensure supplier invoices are accurate and complete prior to processing.
• Prepare and manage supplier reconciliations, as well as oversee payment staging in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Produce precise customer invoices and billing statements for funders and educational institutions.
• Maintain the accounts receivable ledger and diligently follow up on overdue payments.
• Allocate daily bank transactions across various banking platforms and Xero.
• Regularly update the cash flow forecast on a daily and weekly basis; proactively monitor upcoming financial commitments.
• Conduct thorough monthly reconciliations and provide detailed financial analysis to the finance team.
• Draft and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all major transaction categories.
• Diploma in Bookkeeping, Financial Accounting, or a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a financial administrator or similar position.
• Proficient in G-Suite applications.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.
• Strong organizational skills and effective diary management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
