Senior Payroll Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Become a part of the EMEA Consulting team to assist in the deployment of Workday Payroll for the UK.

• Serving as the lead payroll consultant within professional services, you will oversee the complete implementation process.

• Function as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding or aiding in the deployment of single or multiple functional streams.

• Provide product training and project initiation for UK Payroll and related products such as Absence, Benefits, and Time Tracking.

• Collaborate closely with other Consulting Teams on projects, including Data and Integration Consultants, to ensure effective teamwork.

• Gather and comprehend the customer’s business needs while demonstrating fundamental Workday concepts.

• Convert customer requirements into configured solutions and ensure thorough unit testing.

• Assist the customer during testing phases, addressing any test-related issues.

• Carry out final deployment activities, offering knowledge transfer and post-production support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of consulting experience, either as an Internal Consultant or with a Consulting/Software Company.

• In-depth knowledge of UK Payroll compliance and legislation.

• Proven experience working with or implementing a Tier 1 business software application such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, ADP, Ceridian, or similar platforms.

• Proficient in business analysis and requirements gathering.

• A strong presenter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Eagerness and capability to learn technology rapidly through various mediums.

• Resourceful and adaptable; comfortable working remotely and utilizing a variety of tools with a high level of autonomy.

• Expert knowledge of Irish Payroll compliance and legislation.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Proficiency in English is essential.
