This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take full ownership of the complete execution of regular US payroll cycles with accuracy.
• Lead payroll projects of moderate to high complexity from initial scoping to final delivery.
• Function as a process owner to identify root causes of recurring challenges and develop scalable solutions.
• Assist with equity-to-payroll workflows.
• Act as a subject matter expert for ADP and Workday HCM.
• Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and appropriate controls.
• Recognize gaps in workflows and escalate issues as necessary.
• Contribute to the long-term objectives of the team.
• 4–6 years of progressive, hands-on experience in processing complex, multi-state US payroll.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with modern payroll and HCM platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday HCM).
• Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with HRIS, Accounting, Tax, Benefits, and Legal teams.
