Senior Payments Engineer – Acquiring, Payment Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Create and develop backend services in Golang that connect with payment processors.

• Take full ownership of crucial money-transfer processes from start to finish.

• Establish idempotent, fault-tolerant, and auditable transaction processing within a distributed system.

• Function within the parameters of PCI DSS compliance.

• Implement instrumentation and monitoring for payment health.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering.

• Proficient in Go (preferred) or equivalent experience in Python, particularly in building and serving REST APIs.

• Practical experience in integrating with payment processors, gateways, or acquiring systems.

• Familiarity with distributed, cloud-based architectures utilizing patterns such as transactional outboxes or queuing systems (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ).

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven hands-on experience with Claude or a similar large language model (LLM).
