Senior Payments Engineer – Acquiring & Payment Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend services using Golang

• Take ownership of essential money-movement processes from start to finish

• Create idempotent, fault-tolerant, and auditable transaction processing systems

• Work within the PCI DSS compliance framework

• Implement and monitor payment system health

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering

• Proficient in Go (preferred), or equivalent experience in Python, with a focus on building and serving REST APIs

• Practical experience integrating with payment processors, gateways, or acquiring systems

• Familiarity with distributed, cloud-based architectures employing patterns such as transactional outboxes or queuing tools

• Proven, hands-on experience with Claude or a similar LLM
