This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create and develop backend services using Golang that connect with payment processors and gateways.

• Take full responsibility for essential money-movement processes from start to finish: authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, reconciliation, and chargeback/dispute management.

• Work within the scope of PCI DSS compliance.

• Implement and monitor payment performance metrics.

• Guide and mentor engineers to elevate the team's overall capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in backend or full-stack software engineering.

• Proficient in Go (preferred), or equivalent experience in Python.

• Practical experience with payment processors, gateways, or acquiring systems integration.

• Familiarity with distributed, cloud-based architectures utilizing patterns such as transactional outboxes or queuing systems (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience working with AI tools like Claude or similar large language model technologies.
